Bailey is a real sweetheart and shares lots of affection.  She is a wonderful mother to both our children, and her puppies!  Even as a puppy herself she has always been very calm and easy going, but at the same time extremely smart and obedient.  She has a super shiny, soft black coat.  Although we don't hunt with Bailey, she loves to retrieve and has several pups who became impressive hunters.  We've received many complements from owners on the beauty, health and temperament of Bailey's pups.  (Feb. 2008 update - Bailey is now retired from our breeding program, however we do use her sons for stud with Tahara and Cocoa.  Now the traits we love so much in Bailey will carry on to her future generations.)

When we went to pick out a new yellow lab puppy, we noticed 9 month old Tahara and it was love at first sight!  The breeder agreed to let us purchase her instead and she came home with us that day.  She had a lot of puppy still in her so the first thing we did is take her to obedience classes.  She quickly learned all the commands and excelled in her classes.  Tahara loves swimming, retrieving, car rides and playing with the kids!  She has a beautiful light yellow coat with darker yellow on her ears and thick tail.  She has proved as a mother, her pups not only inherit her beauty, but also her outgoing personality, intelligence and eagerness to learn and please.

Cocoa is the newest addition to our labrador family!  Cocoa is from both a hunting and show bloodline.  She has a gorgeous dark chocolate coat and a blocky, muscular body.  She is the most energetic of our girls and really fun to be around.  Her silly personality has brought many smiles to our faces.  It's hard to believe she was the 'shy' pup of the litter.  Cocoa is very obedient and listens well to our commands.  No matter where we are or what we're doing she is always right by our side waiting for us to stop and give her a quick pat on the head!  We are really looking forward to Cocoa's first litter of puppies in the Fall of '08'.  Watch our puppy page for updates!
